FNN Issue 14
No. 14 Almost a Twitter special
Monday, 27th September 2010
Howdy folks, hope you are doing well with everything you do. There are a lot of stories about Twitter this time, it can be almost considered as a Twitter special. So read on and enjoy.
Also, I discovered that people does not really "see" the share button above! I though i should remind you that it's there to share. Hey, this is a shameless plug to telling you to share the URL even if you don't want to use the provided share tools on the top that would allow you to share the URL easily. Just in case if you don't remember what the URL to share is, it's ne.rdne.ws ... so, go on, share!
Beiber - what a twit!
We all know the story of Justin Beiber — another young one who cannot really be distinguished to be male or female from a distance. Not yet anyway — puberty, where are you when they need you!

Anyhow, there have been unconfirmed reports that this guy uses 3% of Twitter resources - just for him and his fan base. By the way, his Twitter fan base is five and a half million .. (5,400,000+).
3% of Twitter Infrastructure - That's huge!
That's the amount of people his messages will be delivered to and those people will keep re-tweeting what he tweeted. Apparently, he also get's around 60 @replys per second when he tweets.
Talk about scalability..

Special Twitter accounts
Well, these are not special accounts so to speak. They are special because they are funny. Whoever maintains them actually makes an effort to keep the tweets relevant to the account. Here goes the list..
Jesus Christ
twitter.com/jesusIsn't that the best twitter account name you can get?
Steve Jobs
twitter.com/ceoSteveJobsSays things like.. abcdefghi™jklmnopqrstuvwxyz .. and .. The new iPod touch: I'd tap that.
chucknorris_
twitter.com/chucknorris_You can't go pass a few facts about good old Chuck Norris.
If you know of any more, why don't you add those to the comments?
Chuck Norris did you say? Well, this one uses JavaScript for that
Speaking of Chuck Norris, you have to mention the JavaScript equivalent of Chuck. The great Douglas Crockford. Some might say he's the father of Jason JSON.
there are many things to be said about Doug but the facts about his adventures of JavaScript has to be the one place where u can truly understand what he is all about.
